The FC Bayern Youth Cup is the biggest series of international tournaments in the world, in which countries such as Brazil, China, India, Italy, Japan, the United States, among others, take part in a World-cup like event that takes place in Munich, Germany. The Cup’s main goal is to give children around the world the opportunity to show their talent and skill, regardless of their social background, in the biggest stage. Curveball Sports and FC Bayern have come together to bring the tournament to Mexico, and played the first edition in 2021.

Each country where the FC Bayern Youth Cup takes place has its own process and Regional qualifiers that lead to a National Final, in which a representative of FC Bayern selects the so-called National Team with the ten best players from the participating country aged 14 to 16 years old. This team then travels to Munich to play in the FC Bayern Youth Cup World Finals and compete against teams from the other participating countries. The world final is played at the Allianz Arena the day after FC Bayern’s last home game.

The teams arrive a few days in advance to take part in a five-day training camp on Säbener Strasse and train with FC Bayern youth coaches. Furthermore, players from all over the world will receive a comprehensive social program during their stay in Munich. They will meet the players of the FC Bayern first team, visit the city of Munich, attend the last FC Bayern home game and finally take part in the FC Bayern Youth Cup World Final on the grass of the world-famous Allianz Arena.
